Mats & Pillows

Lying down on Shakti spikes activates hundreds of acupoints to promote circulation, release tension, and naturally restore the energy that flows within you.

It’s a sensation to start, but after a few minutes the tingle turns into a soft warmth that brings a meditative state with it. We call it Shakti bliss.

Skin-to-spike contact lets the spikes work their best, and focusing on your breath will help you sink to relaxation sooner.

The Shakti Mat

The most popular way to use the Shakti Mat is by lying down. Make sure your neck, shoulders, and back are in contact with the spikes. Other areas include the back of your legs, and your feet if you’re feeling brave.

  • Start with a space you can lie down and remain undisturbed in. The floor is great, otherwise the softness of your bed will ensure maximum contact.
  • Lie down slowly to evenly distribute your weight. Then take a deep breath, exhale, and let the spikes work their magic.
  • 20 minutes is the average time it takes to find Shakti bliss, but you can start slow or go further if you’re up for it.
  • Set a timer if the real world needs you back, or tune into relaxing audio in the free Shakti Shala app.
Shakti Premium Pillow

The Shakti Pillow

Think of the Pillow as an extension of your Shakti Mat. The most popular way to use them is while you lie on them.

  • The classic Shakti Pillow is ideal beneath an achy neck and shoulders, while its curves can also work on tight arches.
  • The Premium Pillow's shape and moldable fill offer the same benefits with much greater versatility throughout your body. Place it behind an achy lower back, beneath tight legs, or into any tense curve.
  • Either Pillow can be placed against a bed pillow to create the perfect angle while you relax or read.
  • Releasing tension usually takes around 10 minutes, though everyone is different. Greater tension and tightness can require more time to release, making the eventual relief even more rewarding.

Wonderball

The Wonderball is our on-demand acupressure tool: perfect whenever you need a quick reset. Using it is as easy as picking a tense area and getting your roll on.

Roll it between your hands, up your arms, into your side body—even over your face—and feel tension release after a minute.

The cork stand it comes with is perfect for releasing tension under your arms and wrists, too.

Take it to work and keep it on your desk as a reminder to relax now and again. Or keep it at home to get a little more from your downtime.

Acupress Back & Belly Band

You can't always lie down when your back and belly give up. It’s why we developed a targeted acupressure tool that moves with you.

Apply the Acupress Back & Belly Band by choosing where you’d like it to work its magic. Attach the spikes to the centre of the band to release your lower back. Move them to the inner strap to relieve your belly.

Now comes the fun part. Fasten the inner straps so that the band fits comfortably around your waist, then tighten the outer straps to adjust the pressure of the spikes.

The straps can be tightened independently, so you can adjust them to match your mood.

Removing the acupressure pad entirely lets you support yourself without the spikes.

ACUPRESS LEG WRAPS

Wrapping a few thousand spikes around sore legs sounds like the opposite of relaxing. Sometimes, it’s just what they need.

  • Apply the Acupress Leg Wraps by fastening the inner in numerical order. Make sure you’re sitting down when applying and using them. Feel free to adjust the order of application if that creates a better, contoured fit.
  • If you’re looking for a lighter experience–or just getting started–you can sit with the sensation for 20-40 minutes from here if you want.
  • To take the pressure up a notch, wrap the compression strap to create even pressure around your legs.

Acupress Headband

Unlike the Mat and Pillow, the Headband works best with subtle pressure. It doesn’t need to be strapped tightly to activate the acupoints around your head.

  • Simply wrap the Headband lightly whenever your mind feels tension coming on. It’s long enough to cover all the key acupoints—especially around your temples.
  • Leave it on for 15-50 minutes at a time while you relax—however relaxation looks for you. You could be in bed, on the couch, or on a Shakti Mat.
  • It’s not all about relaxing though. You can keep it by your WFH workspace to help with focus and deep thinking, too.

Torus Ring Set

Pick a Ring and place it on your finger.

Roll it up and down the entire length of each finger 20 times to stimulate each acupoint. Repeat this for each finger.

It’s that simple.

3 levels let you adjust the intensity as you need to, so feel free to experiment and discover which works best for you.

Feeling adventurous? Try the Torus Rings on your toes.

To-Go Acupressure Mat

The To-Go Mat is for when you’re hours from home and your back’s been sore for even longer. Lying on one is no different to lying on your Shakti Mat. But because it doesn’t have foam, the surface you use it on makes the biggest difference.

Lay it on your hotel bed or a sun lounger for a familiar feel, or place it on a harder surface to dial up the intensity.

Once unrolled, tuck the pouch into itself to reveal the Shakti logo and create a pocket for stuffing a shirt inside as a makeshift pillow or headrest.

When you're done, roll it up from the bottom with the spikes facing inward and secure it with the elastic loops.
